The Rotary Foundation Peace Scholar applicant
Apr. 16, 2026
Each year The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International offers 130 peace study scholarships: 50 fellowships for Master’s degree courses and up to 80 for post-graduate certificate studies at Rotary Peace Centres in seven universities around the world.
The Master’s degree peace and development course is 15-24 months long and includes a two-three months field study.
The post-graduate certificate course in a blended learning programme offered to experienced professionals working in the peace and development space.
Annie Walker, a Political Science and International Relations graduate of University of Canterbury, previously from Cambridge and now living in Hamiton approached the club through our website to see if we could assist her with her Peace Scholarship Masters' application. After speaking with TRF chair and President Lawrie, I met Annie over Easter and had no hesitation in commending her to The Rotary Foundation's Scholarship Committee in the hope she will be interviewed so her application can proceed.
