Rotary Cambridge says a big thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising activities in any way. Without you, none of the grants exceeding $100000 would have been possible.
Cambridge Rotary celebrated another successful year by announcing those successful in applying for grants. Roger Hill the retiring President acknowledged the hard work of the Club’s members in raising over $100,000 for distribution. He also thanked them for their volunteering to help many other activities within the community from collecting for variouscharity street appeals to marshalling at many sporting and other events such as the Christmas Parade. He also acknowledged the contribution of the Bruise Brothers who have regular engagements in the town entertaining people of all ages but particularly the elderly.
In addition to the Club’s regular fundraisers, Bookarama, Cambridge FindIt telephone directory, Race to Raise Funds and Charity Dinner this year the club has two new fundraiser scheduled prior to Christmas the Garden Festival in early November and Taste Waikato a unique cookery book based on food produced in our region which will be on sale in time for Christmas.
