Parkinsons - Tinman Club-Visit from Ham East
In 2017 Martin and his daughter Stephanie started up the Parkinsons Tinman Club to fundraise and build awareness of this relentless and unforgiving disease. Over the last 3 years they have had great support from family and friends and this year they are trying to widen the awareness and appeal to fellow Rotarians for their support.
Martin has have competed in the Tinman Triathlon for the last 3 years and this year he will front up for the 4th time. For someone who lives with Parkinsons, this has taken a great deal of training, grit, determination, and a commitment to train all year round, however he feels very strongly about the value of this commitment.
