Achievement House offers part-time employment, volunteer and community participation opportunities to people with a disability. Rotary Cambridge once again this year organised a Xmas party for Achievement House, and a great time was had by all, including our club members who attended. This is now a regular event, havingbeen held for several years, and is obviously a real highlight for the staff and clients.
A sumptuous meal is provided thanks to the wonderful generosity of local cafes, restaurants and food outlets. Other highlights were the entertainment from Rotary Cambridges club’s band, The Bruised Brothers, and also the arrival of Santa Claus with gifts for everyone.
Achievement House Manager, Neil Fynn, thanked the Rotary Cambridge for their ongoing generosity, and commented that the Xmas part was a highlight of the year. It is very gratifying to see how much we all enjoyed the excitement of the day.
